In this position, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely availability, accuracy, and readiness of clinical supplies, instruments, and equipment to support organ and tissue recovery operations. This role manages day-to-day centralized supply operations, including building and staging case ready supply kits, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting instrument tray lifecycle management. The position performs inventory receiving, ordering, storage, rotation, expiration monitoring, restocking, and reconciliation activities to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. The Logistics Technician supports facility and vehicle readiness, coordinates equipment maintenance and calibration schedules, and provides data and reporting on supply usage trends to support operational efficiency and cost-effective supply management across local and remote sites. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid State Driver’s license and meet LifeNet Health’s minimum driving requirements for company related driving
  • TWO (2) years of experience in Warehousing, Storeroom or Inventory experience
  • ONE (1) year of experience in Inventory Database experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
  • Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to understand Quality Inspection plans.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains par levels for all supplies and equipment in support of the OPO and Tissue Recovery operations.
  • Places orders for supply replenishment and perform incoming shipment verification and inspection according to established protocols.
  • Maintains inventory in an orderly and organized manner through the use of stock rotation according to FEFO/FIFO.
  • Establishes and maintains control of holding, quarantine and storage areas to prevent mix-ups, damage, deterioration, or contamination of product/s pending use or distribution and ensures that no obsolete, rejected, or deteriorated product is used or distributed.
  • Prepares and stages case-ready supply kits and case carts.
  • Accurately performs inventory counts on all stocked warehouse items, assists in keeping inventory items at correct usage levels and reports shortages in a timely manner.
  • Performs all processes related to the maintenance and management of all facility equipment and storage environments.
  • Manages the maintenance and calibration schedules and activities for all assigned equipment, to include refrigerators, freezers, probes, vehicles, pumps, and other critical equipment tracked by the LifeNet Health Corporate Support teams.
  • Ensures critical supply storage and quarantine hold areas are clean, organized, and maintained in an acceptable state of repair.
  • Monitors critical storage environments by performing the daily, weekly, and monthly temperature monitoring and documentation processes.
  • Performs scheduled environmental monitoring and sampling in support of the dedicated recovery operative suite.
  • Responsible for ensuring the vehicles used by the clinical teams are kept clean and well maintained.
  • Maintains accurate records of all supply and equipment inventories.
  • Maintains accurate records for cleaning and temperature monitoring of critical supply and tissue storage areas.
  • Supports internal and external audits and audit record requests.
  • Ensures continual audit readiness for the facility, equipment records, and storage areas.
  • Performs general support activities for the facility, such as: moving equipment and furniture, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and minor grounds inspections.
  • May drive shipments and transfers between local and LifeNet Health facilities.
  • Fulfills support requests upon receipt and ensures timely delivery of interdepartmental mail, personal packages, supplies and tissue shipments; including documentation of tracking and delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.
