About The Position

This role is responsible for handling materials and operating machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on producing life-sustaining products. The Supply Handler plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely and quality production of Baxter's high-caliber products. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics calculations.
Lifting and carrying 26-50 lbs., an average of 3 ft., approximately 18 times per shift.
Lifting over 75 lbs. approximately 160 times per shift.
Frequent or continuous lifting or moving, occasionally in difficult work positions, with walking, pulling, stretching, bending, pushing and/or reaching effort required.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required.
Good eye/hand/foot coordination could be necessary.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Experience operating a reach truck.

Responsibilities

Reviews Kiefel schedule and procures vinyl roll stock from the warehouse.
Stages vinyl roll stock in the ante-room, breaks down pallets, and loads roll stock onto buggies.
Supplies Kiefel machines with the correct vinyl roll stock.
Operates pneumatic hoist, worksaver, reach truck, grinder, and blender machines.
Converts vinyl trim scrap into reusable material for extruders.
Delivers various raw materials to the extrusion department and removes/stages finished goods.
Performs GMP cleaning duties, supplies Kiefels with belt material and plastic liners.
Performs routine bag closet maintenance.
Supports Safety, 6S, GMP, and TPM efforts and reports any issues to Supervision.
Loads vinyl roll stock onto carts and stages behind designated Kiefels.
Supplies department with Kiefel tubing.
Completes required documentation and labeling.
Maintains Ante Room per GMP requirements.
Supplies materials for Subassembly and Extrusion machines.
Moves finished goods to staging areas.
Removes scrap and performs housekeeping duties.
Inspects ground trim for foreign material.
Releases trim and transports to warehouse, performs documentation and cleans area.
Provides belt material and tote pan liners to the area.
Conforms to the North Cove dress code and safety procedures.
Uses safety knife, scissors, utility knife and snap gauge.
Assembles and disassembles boxes.
Operates worksaver, hand trucks, and forklift.
Performs other duties as assigned.
