Key duties include checking warehouse refusal lists and transaction reports to verify stock, resolving discrepancies, and inspecting locations for items listed as zero stock. The role involves reviewing various reports such as merchandise transfer discrepancy reports and warehouse extension reports to reconcile inventory figures. The clerk conducts special physical inventory counts as requested, verifies the accuracy of merchandise transfers against shipping documents, and uses a CRT to make necessary adjustments for discrepancies. Additionally, the position involves reviewing warehouse ranking reports to recommend merchandise relocation for optimal space utilization and reduced handling costs. The Supply Clerk also handles warehouse addition and deletion notices, assigning space and labels for new items, and taking inventory and removing labels for deleted items. The work is performed under general supervision, following established guidelines, and is reviewed for accuracy and compliance. The associate is required to receive Hazardous Material (HazMat) training within 90 days of hire and may need to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
