About The Position

Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support hospital supply chain and budgetary needs. The position supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, dispatch, purchasing, and related supply chain processes. This is a full-time role working 40 hours weekly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of supply chain or materials management experience.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• Ability to consistently lift and move items up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lawson, Workday procurement, or supply chain software.
• Knowledge or experience with procurement, medical supplies, inventory control, and purchasing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support, advise, and assist departmental managers with hospital supply chain and budgetary needs.
• Support and participate in Corporate Supply Chain initiatives.
• Assist with local hospital recalls.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and dispatch functions of supply chain management.
• Assist with creating and maintaining max/min reorder points to ensure product availability within corporate objectives.
• Assist with cycle and inventory counts consistent with corporate guidelines.
• Prepare and issue emergency purchase orders within corporate guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare annual capital requests following corporate processes.
