The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for picking, packaging, and delivering supplies to requesting departments. They will also re-stock shelves, trays, and carts with incoming supplies, utilizing FIFO and FEFO methods to rotate stock. This role involves unloading stock from the dock, confirming accuracy, unpacking, and placing stock on shelves efficiently. The technician will operate floor jacks and forklifts, check supply par levels, outdates, and overstock, and assist in determining appropriate floor unit PAR levels. Additionally, they will participate in inventory counts, collect and clean dirty equipment, deliver and set up equipment for patient care areas, return equipment to its appropriate location, track rental equipment, and transport equipment to Biomed when necessary. The role also includes entering patient charges for supplies and equipment, verifying supply transaction accuracy in the MMIS system, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment. The technician is expected to practice good customer service skills, answer telephones and intercoms promptly, and provide patient and material transport. Daily receiving, delivery, and returns are also part of the responsibilities.
