About The Position

The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for supply activities including checking par levels of specified areas, delivering supplies to replenish pars, filling and delivery of requisition requests, replenishing Code Carts, keying activities into the Purchasing Inventory System. Assists in receiving, tagging and stocking supplies in designated storage areas. Assures that all storage areas are maintained in clean and orderly fashion.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write the equivalent of eighth grade English
• Advanced mathematical ability as it relates to healthcare inventory (i.e. cc, mg) and bulk distribution and inventory calculations
• Understanding the correlation of the Supply Chain Technician function in the delivery of quality patient care
• Ability to provide continuous services

Nice To Haves

• Some post-secondary education
• Two (2) years of Supply Chain and/or Medical Supplies Buyer experience in a healthcare setting
