The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for picking, packaging, and delivering supplies to requesting departments. This role involves restocking shelves, managing inventory using FIFO and FEFO methods, and unloading stock from the dock. The technician will also operate floor jacks and forklifts, monitor supply par levels, and assist in determining appropriate PAR levels. Additionally, the role includes participating in inventory counts, collecting and cleaning equipment, delivering and setting up equipment for patient care areas, and tracking rental equipment. The technician will also be responsible for entering patient charges for supplies and equipment, verifying supply transactions in the MMIS system, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Providing excellent customer service and answering telephones are also key aspects of this position. The role may also involve patient and material transport, daily receiving, delivery, and returns as directed.
