The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for picking, packaging, and delivering supplies to requesting departments. This role involves restocking shelves, managing inventory using FIFO and FEFO methods, unloading stock, and operating equipment such as floor jacks and forklifts. The technician will also monitor supply levels, assist in determining PAR levels, participate in inventory counts, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use. Additionally, the role includes delivering and setting up equipment for patient care areas, tracking rental equipment, transporting equipment to Biomed, entering patient charges, verifying supply transactions in the MMIS system, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The technician must also practice good customer service skills, answer telephones, and provide patient and material transport.
