Summary: The Supply Chain Technician supports integrated Supply Chain operations and is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting material and tissue flow, and executing assigned fulfillment and operational tasks in accordance with applicable regulatory and company standards. This role performs receiving, storage, transaction processing, staging, and shipping activities as assigned, utilizing approved systems and material handling equipment to ensure traceability, compliance, and operational continuity. Scope of responsibilities may vary based on shift assignments and operational needs. Working holidays or overtime may be required on a rotating or scheduled basis to support business needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in an operational or procedural-based environment requiring strict adherence to policies and safety standards.
  • 2 years’ experience performing inventory handling, material movement, order fulfillment, or comparable operational tasks.
  • Ability to work safely in environments that may include exposure to regulated waste and biohazardous materials while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history to operate Company-owned vehicles, if required by assigned duties.(Subject to yearly review of MVR acknowledgment of Vehicle Policy). Accommodation will be reviewed as needed.
  • Ability to travel between company facilities within the local area as operational needs require.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate in English proficiently (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension)

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training
  • APICS or other supply chain certification coursework
  • AATB certification or familiarity with regulated environments
  • Experience in warehouse, inventory, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment subject to internal, customer, or governmental audits.
  • Experience utilizing ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Follow applicable SOPs, work instructions, training requirements, safety practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies while performing all job duties.
  • Accurately perform assigned Supply Chain tasks to support the safe and efficient flow, storage, and movement of materials, tissue, WIP, and/or finished goods to meet organizational needs.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and department expectations.
  • Utilize approved electronic systems and tools (e.g., ERP, barcode scanners, document management systems, shipping platforms) to execute and verify transactions, maintain traceability, and support inventory accuracy.
  • Perform inventory verification activities as assigned (e.g., cycle counts, reconciliations, status checks) and promptly escalate discrepancies, constraints, or potential issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Safely handle materials and waste in accordance with established procedures, including biohazardous materials and regulated waste streams, using required PPE and proper containment/disposal methods.
  • Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments to include preparing materials for storage, or shipping, ensuring appropriate quality/regulated documents, and constant internal and external communication to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspects inventory, conducts inventory movement and storage based on inventory type, and works with Quality to troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Maintain database records of inventory, movements, orders and shipments, as well as supplier or customer files, orders, returns/credits, Return Authorization logs, and other applicable documents.
  • Maintain a regular work schedule as assigned; may be required to work holidays, overtime, or call-in work.
  • Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices, and company policies.
  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
