The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for picking, packaging, and delivering supplies to requesting departments. They will re-stock shelves, manage inventory using FIFO and FEFO methods, and unload stock daily. This role involves operating floor jacks and forklifts, checking supply par levels, and participating in inventory counts. Additionally, the technician will deliver and set up equipment, track rental equipment, transport equipment to Biomed, and enter patient charges for supplies and equipment. A key part of the role is verifying the accuracy of supply transactions within the MMIS system and maintaining a clean, efficient, and hazard-free work environment. The technician must also practice good customer service skills, answer telephones, and provide patient and material transport.
