Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS)
  • Experience with Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, or similar inventory systems
  • Previous healthcare, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily receipt, distribution, and management of supplies and equipment throughout the hospital and outpatient clinics.
  • Receive, unload, verify, and distribute supplies across multiple departments.
  • Transport supplies, equipment, medical records, lab specimens, blood products, and oxygen cylinders throughout the hospital and adjacent facilities.
  • Maintain inventory levels by replenishing bedside carts, supply rooms, overhead cabinets, and operating room supplies.
  • Perform cycle counts, rotate inventory, remove expired products, and manage overstock.
  • Utilize inventory systems such as Workday MMIS, Par Excellence, and WD Mobile.
  • Process stock and non-stock orders, recalls, returns, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Clean and organize supply rooms while maintaining Joint Commission standards.
  • Clean patient care equipment and report defective equipment or supply shortages.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize inventory levels and improve supply workflows.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
