About The Position
The Supply Chain Technician I assists the Supply Chain Supervisor in organizing and maintaining supply rooms and provides service to customers. The role delivers supplies, maintains par levels, fills requisitions, responds to requests, and supports accurate inventory maintenance. The position is based at UofL Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, and is scheduled for third shift, 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Keep abreast of current trends and changes related to healthcare technology.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- At least two years of supply chain-related experience.
- Team management and/or project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Restock shelves daily and rotate inventory.
- Perform cycle counts and other inventory activities.
- Notify the Supervisor about outdated or slow-moving inventory.
- Support and maintain inventory levels for third-party system or Lawson par locations.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for automated inventory management systems.
- Maintain clean and orderly stock locations.
- Assist customers in person or by phone using VOCERA while maintaining a professional image.
- Process shipments for stocking or delivery.
- Perform basic Lawson functions and use the facility’s third-party inventory system.
- Assist with packing case carts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
