About The Position
The Supply Chain Technician I assists the Supply Chain Supervisor with organizing and maintaining supply rooms. The role delivers supplies, maintains par levels, fills requisitions, and responds to requests while providing optimal service to customers. The technician supports accurate inventory maintenance, keeps stock locations clean and orderly, and helps ensure supplies are available through routine replenishment and inventory checks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Keep abreast of current trends and changes related to technology within healthcare.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- At least two years of supply chain-related experience.
- Team management and/or project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Support accurate maintenance of supply inventory.
- Restock shelves daily and rotate inventory.
- Perform cycle counts or other inventory tasks.
- Notify the Supervisor of outdated or slow-moving inventory.
- Support and maintain inventory levels for third-party system or Lawson par locations.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for automated inventory management systems.
- Maintain clean and orderly stock locations.
- Maintain a professional image when assisting customers in person or by phone using VOCERA.
- Process shipments for stocking or delivery.
- Perform basic Lawson functions and use the facility’s third-party system.
- Assist with packing case carts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
