As a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator – Level 3 your role at Promontory, UT will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Ready to join forces with our visionary team? The Tech Coordinator will work closely with the production planner and manufacturing to ensure material and planning are available for production. Responsibilities include work order closure, material ordering to the factory floor, and coordination of product movement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of inventory and operations support experience
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, property, engineering flows
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with MRP systems
  • Knowledge and applicable experience of lean principles
  • Experience in tracking and reporting status
  • Personal drive for process improvements
  • Local to the State of Utah

Responsibilities

  • Use of MRP to close work orders; pick material from Stores
  • Advises management, planner and factory schedulers of production status and escalate problems to ensure labor, tools, equipment, and services are provided as needed
  • Coordinates with other internal departments to ensure the movement of parts is delivered on time
  • Works within the department to ensure supporting documents are available before production
  • Coordination of product movement across the value stream
