Requirements

High School Diploma
Computer Skills; Proficient in Microsoft® Office, SAP
Good Communication Skills
In-depth knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain management
Basic knowledge of transportation/freight management processes and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft® Office
Accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree
Experience in the Automotive industry

Responsibilities

Providing semi-professional support and some analysis/expertise in one to two functional areas of logistics (i.e. transportation/freight, import/export, etc.).
Completing general projects as they relate/interface with other areas of the supply chain (i.e. customs, planning, etc.).
Performing routine clerical duties such as maintaining letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed records arranged in a file according to an established system.
Retrieving data or correspondence from files as requested within an appropriate time frame.
Obtaining necessary permits and preparing tax documents.
Working with purchasing or sales to make appropriate arrangements for carriers based on delivery time requirements.
Participating in continuous improvement programs and providing support to team efforts.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing and expanding professional networks.
Complying with all TS16949 policies and procedures.
Providing general support across all or most functional areas of the logistics department.
Performing other duties as required and assigned.
