About The Position

Northrop Grumman Strategic Systems Division is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator 4 for a position located in Huntsville, Alabama. The role provides administrative, technical, tactical, and execution support across supply chain disciplines, with emphasis on goods movement, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations. The work includes manual movement, shipping, and receiving of materials; tracking and staging raw material and parts for manufacturing; and coordinating with Integration/Production Control and shop-floor teams in a warehouse environment. The position requires operating company vehicles to move parts between company sites and other locations, and may involve travel 10% of the time. The standard schedule is 9/80, with nine-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and every other Friday off. No relocation assistance is available. The full-time position offers a stated salary range of $63,500 to $105,900. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, plus six years of additional education and/or related experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and/or inventory control.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to read and follow policies and procedures.
Ability to lift 25 pounds and walk or stand for extended periods.
Valid driver's license.
Prior experience using SAP/MES.
Experience packaging, wrapping, and banding finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, or equipment.
Forklift experience.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense clearance.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical requirements.

Nice To Haves

Transportation Management Systems experience, particularly booking, tracking, and verifying pickup and delivery and running reports.
Experience booking shipments within the Defense Transportation Management System (Ryder).
Experience processing freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
Experience packing and handling hazardous shipments.

Responsibilities

Support activities across multiple supply chain disciplines, primarily goods movement, logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
Track and stage raw materials and parts for manufacturing processes.
Perform SAP goods issue and goods receiving transactions.
Load, unload, and convey materials and parts to multiple work sites, including by hand from pallets, trays, racks, machines, and trucks.
Work with the Integration/Production Control team and shop floor in a warehouse environment.
Wrap and pack parts for shipment to on-site and off-site locations.
Provide material and parts status during meetings and planning or status sessions.
Operate company-owned vehicles to pick up and deliver parts between Northrop Grumman sites, buildings, and off-site locations.
Assist with shipping claims or repairs to damaged shipping containers.
