About The Position

The Supply Chain Team Leader at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) Central Supply coordinates daily department operations, leads supply chain activities, supports Supply Technicians, and ensures efficient inventory management throughout the hospital and off-site locations. The role helps ensure caregivers have the supplies needed to deliver patient care. The position leads daily workflows, manages inventory and operational processes, supports hospital departments, and works to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. It also requires maintaining a professional image and providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Six years of warehousing or retail experience, including receiving, inventory management, and stocking, required.
An associate degree may substitute for up to two years of required experience.
A bachelor's degree may substitute for up to four years of required experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate facility supply chain operations in accordance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Lead daily workflow and provide guidance to Supply Technicians.
Generate inventory, management, and operational reports.
Process product additions, modifications, and system file updates.
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
Monitor inventory discrepancies and report fluctuations.
Support receiving, requisitioning, order processing, charging, and crediting of supplies.
Conduct quality assurance checks and departmental audits.
Create and maintain employee schedules and department meetings.
Round with hospital departments to identify and resolve supply needs.
Perform basic system troubleshooting.
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a professional image and deliver outstanding customer service.
