About The Position

As a Supply Chain Summer Assistant you will be responsible for working closely with the Materials department to design and implement a well-organized supermarket system. This initiative will involve creating a series of detailed kanban cards, which will facilitate efficient inventory management and streamline workflow processes. The shift for this position is 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday from May to August 2026.

Requirements

Must possess a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
Candidates must demonstrate strong typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
Proficiency in proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting is highly valued.
College student pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree
Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Has excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Possesses effective presentation skills for both large and small groups.
Displays strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Proficient in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office software products.
A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required, ideally in an office environment or a role that involves administrative support.
This experience should include familiarity with standard office procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

Computer tasks involve a range of activities, including accurate data entry, the creation of various forms, the design of kanban cards for efficient workflow management, and the development of comprehensive work instructions.
Conduct training sessions for team members and carry out audits to ensure compliance with the newly implemented processes.
Be prepared for additional assignments that may arise based on workload and availability, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Engage in hands-on work that includes light lifting, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and responding to various miscellaneous requests to support overall team operations.
