We are a dynamic and growing Supply Chain department responsible for procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team and assist in supplier database management and procurement-related tasks. This is a 12-16 month placement with a May or early June, 2026 start date.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a relevant program at a recognized institution.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or coursework in procurement, supply chain, or database management an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the supplier database with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and updates.
  • Prepare and issue low complexity RFQs to suppliers as required by the procurement team.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure RFQs meet the necessary specifications.
  • Aid in creating and validating new part numbers, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the system.
  • Assist with RFP projects, providing support as needed to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Contribute to the generation and allocation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help analyze data for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in evaluating stock-on-hand parts and pricing strategies.
