As our Supply Chain Specialist, you will manage inventory for assigned Perioperative Services units, ensuring the right supplies are available to support safe, efficient patient care.Every day, you will manage replenishment, returns, recalls, and product conversions, maintaining accurate par levels and supply labeling within Lawson to minimize waste and obsolescence. You will print preference cards, pull supplies and instrumentation for scheduled cases, and conduct physical inventories in collaboration with the Supply Chain Management team to analyze and adjust inventory as needed.To be successful in this role, you will need working knowledge of Perioperative Services product lines, strong attention to detail, and effective communication with clinical and supply chain teams to balance cost, quality, and service goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Two (2) years Supply Chain Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory for assigned Perioperative Services units, ensuring the right supplies are available to support safe, efficient patient care.
  • Manage replenishment, returns, recalls, and product conversions, maintaining accurate par levels and supply labeling within Lawson to minimize waste and obsolescence.
  • Print preference cards, pull supplies and instrumentation for scheduled cases.
  • Conduct physical inventories in collaboration with the Supply Chain Management team to analyze and adjust inventory as needed.
  • Perform daily inventory of assigned areas within the specialty area. This includes, ordering, receiving breakdown, stocking, rotation, cleaning, labeling, returns and other actions when appropriate.
  • Apply a working knowledge of medical/surgical supplies normally associated with specialty department in order to enhance communications and meet the needs of specialty departments as assigned.
  • Maintain Lawson based on PAR Optimization reports to ensure it is current and reflects the latest changes within the specialty service area.
  • Establish and maintain consignment Inventories.
  • Perform physical counts on a quarterly basis in accordance with established Supply Chain Enterprise Business Process.
  • Ensure delivery for scheduled surgery implants and instruments, complete the "Bill Only" paperwork for payment.
