About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Seal Beach, CA. This role involves coordinating activities to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g., AOG), entering, tracking, monitoring, and coordinating customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations. The specialist will advise customers regarding order status, changes, or improvements on AOG Hard Grounded requirements and act as a liaison communicating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive solutions for customer hard-grounded aircraft situations. Responsibilities also include reviewing and deciphering engineering data for alternate problem resolution, supporting suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans, and assisting in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities and capacity. The role requires assessing and analyzing customer escalations, formulating problem resolutions, and using multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt to a fast-changing environment, manage multiple concurrent deadlines, be self-driven, and capable of asking questions in a team setting.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Able to work both independently and also in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan

  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
  • Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions
  • Uses multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment for AOG Hard grounded requirements.
  • Able to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.
