About The Position

Experienced supply chain professional responsible for planning and developing the Maintenance Spare Parts Inventory. Monitor maintenance requirements and respond to demands by providing system assistance. Assure timeliness and accuracy to meet inventory targets and Maintenance Spare Parts Key Performance Indicators. Perform logistical transactions and maintain records for the Chemical Management program. Work with Corporate Purchasing and designated suppliers to procure parts, VMI-Consignment programs, resources, and additional support when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 0-3 years of related experience. Significant and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • TS-16949 and ISO-14001 awareness.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and manipulate large amounts of data.
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain planning.
  • PC-based software skills required (Microsoft Excel and/or Access).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize incoming and disbursement procedures for spare parts and supplies.
  • Perform Goods Receipts and Consumptions for both Spare Parts and the chemical management inventory; maintain records and resolve invoice discrepancies between AP and the Vendors/Suppliers.
  • Monitor all MRO auto-requisitions and follow through with Purchasing to ensure accurate Auto-Ordering.
  • Maintain databases for Inventory Management: Current Inventory, Repairs (Incoming and outgoing), and Hot items (including spare parts or supplies) for timely review.
  • Work with maintenance supervisors daily, providing support for hot orders and replacement/repaired parts.
  • Takes the lead on emergency orders; works between purchasing, finance, maintenance personnel, logistics, suppliers, and expediting companies to ensure fastest possible delivery of emergency parts.
  • Manage the repair program, coordinating between the maintenance team, external suppliers, and purchasing to optimize the cost benefit of the repair process.
  • Work with Spare parts supervisor to document high level inventory practices in compliance with TS 16969 process, specifically key equipment and critical spare parts.
