Responsibilities

Analyze supply chain data to spot trends, forecast future demand, and ensure timely delivery of parts.
Use tools like MRP, non-MRP, and KANBAN to plan inventory and maintain smooth material flow.
Lead projects related to purchasing, including onboarding new suppliers and improving performance with existing ones.
Source moderately priced and straightforward parts, evaluating suppliers on quality, cost, and reliability.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers representing approximately 20% of annual spend.
Identify and flag supply chain risks early and develop proactive solutions to avoid disruption.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to align purchasing with overall company goals.
Ensure buying practices meet company policies, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
Utilize tools like Excel and Power BI to uncover insights and support data-driven decisions.
