About The Position

Join a well-established international logistics organization and develop and close supply-chain business. The role focuses on companies with complex logistics challenges, including warehousing, outsourced distribution, transportation, and broader supply-chain needs. You will meet with senior decision makers, understand their objectives, work with Operations to develop solutions, build and present proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close business. This is an individual business-development role, not a sales-management position or a warehouse-design role. The position is hybrid, based from a professional Plano office, and involves approximately 30% travel. The organization offers warehousing, contract logistics, transportation, brokerage, and international supply-chain capabilities.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in supply-chain, logistics, or 3PL sales/business development.
Proven success personally developing and closing warehousing or contract-logistics business.
Strong understanding of warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
Experience prospecting for and developing new business.
Ability to sell confidently to Director-, VP-, and C-level decision makers.
Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

Transportation or brokerage experience is strongly valued.
International freight-forwarding knowledge is a plus.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
