About The Position

As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring the achievement of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), and proposing preventative actions for material availability. You will define and lead initiatives for inventory reduction, measure and improve Supplier Service Rate (SSR), and report daily on inventory levels. Your role involves planning raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and MPS, anticipating potential impacts with suppliers and production, and validating/sending forecasts to suppliers weekly. You will ensure materials and components are available to meet customer demand by following up on daily material arrivals against firm orders and ensuring timely shipments from suppliers. Regular communication with supplier contacts, adapting methods and frequency to the situation, is crucial. You will identify blocking points, plan quick actions to resolve them, attend Logistics/Purchasing meetings, and support the implementation of supply chain improvement tools and methods. Defining inbound transportation plans with the External Flow Analyst, supporting inventory counting, and proposing actions to maintain inventory accuracy are also key responsibilities. You will alert sales in case of crisis, define priorities, follow action plans, and escalate if necessary. Regular meetings with major suppliers, proposing logistics protocols, and ensuring supplier account management coverage, including training backups and notifying relevant parties of absences, are also part of the role.

Requirements

Technical Bachelor’s of Science degree
3+ years of experience with Supply Chain and/or Logistics
At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics at a high speed manufacturing plant
Strong analytical skills
Experience with Google or Microsoft Administrative applications

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of SAP is preferred
Automotive experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and components.
Follow up on MPS achievement and propose preventative actions for material availability.
Set up proper raw materials and components inventory levels.
Define and lead actions connected with inventory reductions.
Measure the Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier and propose action plans to improve it.
Follow up and report daily the inventory level of raw material and components families.
Plan raw materials and components requirement based upon SIOP and MPS.
Anticipate potential impacts with suppliers and with production.
Validate and send on a weekly basis forecasts to the suppliers.
Make sure that raw materials and components are available to meet customer demand.
Follow up daily the material arrivals according to firm orders and make sure suppliers ship parts on time.
Communicate complete, precise & reliable information to the Supplier contacts.
Identify blocking points and plan appropriate quick actions to solve them.
Attend Logistics/Purchasing meetings and follow up related action plans.
Support the implementation of tools and methods to improve the supply chain organization.
Define with the External flow analyst the inbound transportation plans.
Support actively the inventory counting and propose actions to maintain accuracy of inventory.
Alert sales in the event of a crisis and define priorities with the Customer & internally.
Follow the evolution of any associated action plans and escalate if necessary.
Meet the Suppliers contacts on a regular basis.
Propose logistics protocol with suppliers in co-operation with External flow analyst and Purchasing.
Make sure that there is a backup for each Suppliers & train the backup on the way to manage the Suppliers’ account.
Ensure that during holidays the position is covered & that both suppliers and internal customers are notified in advance of the absence and informed of the person that will be temporarily managing the Suppliers’ account.
