As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring the achievement of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), and proposing preventative actions for material availability. You will define and lead initiatives for inventory reduction, measure and improve Supplier Service Rate (SSR), and maintain daily inventory level reports. Your role involves planning raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and MPS, anticipating impacts with suppliers and production, and validating/sending weekly forecasts to suppliers. You will also define inbound transportation plans, support inventory counting accuracy, alert sales in case of crisis, and escalate issues when necessary. Additionally, you will meet with key suppliers annually, propose logistics protocols, ensure supplier backup and training, and guarantee coverage during absences.
