As a Supply Chain Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring the achievement of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), and proposing preventative actions for material availability. You will define and lead initiatives for inventory reduction, measure and improve supplier service rates, and plan raw material and component requirements based on sales forecasts and production schedules. This role involves validating and sending forecasts to suppliers, monitoring daily material arrivals, and ensuring timely shipments. You will also identify and resolve blocking points, attend logistics/purchasing meetings, and propose action plans for material shortages. Collaboration with various departments such as APU, Logistics, Purchasing, and VPS is crucial for implementing supply chain improvements like Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and Milk run. You will also define inbound transportation plans, support inventory counting, and manage communication with suppliers, including proposing logistics protocols and ensuring backup coverage for the role.
