About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are fulfilled according to quality guidelines. The team member will perform inspections of products before delivery, document results, and ensure products meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations. The position involves researching and resolving inventory discrepancies, cancelled picks, and picks on hold. Additionally, the role includes monitoring shrink daily, communicating compliance issues, reporting and troubleshooting Warehouse Management System (WMS) issues, and auditing processes across the facility to ensure correct procedures are followed. The team member will also conduct audits on shipments and warehouse cycle schedules, work with supervisors and associates to correct errors, and provide coaching and feedback on quality performance and safe behaviors. Identifying and resolving safety issues on the floor is also a key responsibility. This position is scheduled Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm.

Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • 2 years’ experience in quality assurance and distribution center operations
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access, and WMS
  • Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems

Responsibilities

  • Ensures customer orders are fulfilled per quality guidelines performing inspections of products prior to delivery to customers and documenting results in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensures products meet the highest standards of quality and customer expectations met, if not exceeded
  • Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies
  • Researches and resolves cancelled picks, picks on hold, and other applicable duties
  • Researches and monitors Flatbed Fulfillment Center (FFC) shrink daily providing key information to FFC Operations Support Supervisor
  • Communicates compliance issues to FFC Operations Support Supervisor
  • Reports WMS issues impacting day-to-day operations and optimization troubleshooting and providing support to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Audits processes across the facility ensuring correct processes are utilized, recording inaccuracies, and providing information to the FFC Operations Support Supervisor
  • Conducts audits on shipments and warehouse cycle schedules
  • Works closely with supervisors and associates to correct errors
  • Delivers coaching and feedback to team members related to quality performance and safe behaviors
  • Identifies and resolves any safety issues on the floor and notifies the appropriate party for resolution if necessary
  • Performs other quality assurance job duties as assigned
