About The Position

The Role: Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist Who You Are: You’re skilled at managing end-to-end purchasing and supply chain operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant material flow. You partner well with internal teams, vendors, and contract manufacturers to support production schedules, cost control, and process efficiency. You have strong time management skills, and you’re able to effectively shift priorities throughout the day to meet with internal, client, and vendor needs. Requirements

1 year of supply chain, logistics, or related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics, or a related field required.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or similar professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage purchasing activities, including creating and processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records.
Source and order materials, supplies, and equipment to meet operational needs.
Ensure timely delivery of goods, resolve order issues, and coordinate returns of defective items.
Support non-inventory purchases and invoice processing.
Build and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and performance standards to optimize cost and quality.
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers; oversee compliance, tax, and contract requirements.
Conduct supplier performance reviews and track vendor quotations.
Continuously improve sourcing and procurement processes for efficiency and cost savings.
Develop and update ordering guides and sourcing plans for key components and assemblies.
Lead special procurement projects such as new product launches or sub-assembly sourcing.
Monitor open orders, lead times, and delivery schedules to align with production and operations.
Coordinate materials for contract manufacturers and oversee receiving and documentation.
Prepare monthly purchasing and performance reports.
Conduct quality checks on materials and assemblies.
Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve quality or supplier issues.
Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
Represent the Supply Chain function in meetings and initiatives.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
