As a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – Level 5, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position can be located in Magna, Promontory or Clearfield, UT. FT remote work is not available for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree with 10+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
  • Experience in MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
  • Strong understanding of NG Enterprise and Space policies and procedures
  • Experience with SAP/CostPoint ERP System
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR
  • Experience buying tooling or mechanical commodity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations
  • Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
  • Work independently
  • Problem solve and find creative solutions
  • Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
  • Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives
