Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Supply Chain Planning Specialists - Level 2. These are hybrid positions and will require on-site presence in Linthicum, MD.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, business, or project management. Or in lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, business, or project management.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

• Active security clearance
• Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
• Experience working in an engineering environment
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements

Responsibilities

• Define and develop material strategy; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements; Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurement
• Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; plan inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products
• Analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
• Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements; Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments
• Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs
• Create/release requisitions; Receive/review requirements for non-standard parts
