Requirements

  • Working Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Working knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
  • Working knowledge and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
  • Working knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
  • Basic knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
  • Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with the CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process
  • Progressively responsible supply chain job experience
  • A background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, defining, and implementing integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
  • Establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
  • Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
  • Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
