About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to assist in the evaluation and development of actionable Demand Plan recommendations and drive approved recommendations through Supply execution. Interns will gain experience based on best practice Oliver Wight methodology by working with cross-functional teams that support procurement, customer service, trade, sales, finance, and marketing. The role requires a fundamental understanding of supply chain, forecasting, and analytics. Requirements

  • Must be pursuing bachelor’s in business, marketing, economics, supply chain, analytics or related field having completed sophomore year by beginning of internship
  • Excellent Excel and fluency in PowerPoint, and MS Word skills are required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze information to understand business drivers and trends, and then develop meaningful insights & recommendations
  • Assists in development of the production plan for company division in partnership with sales/marketing departments.
  • Tracks forecasting metrics and planning KPIs to drive continuous improvement of Integrated Business Planning inputs
  • Analyze demand and promotional plans; Collaborate with internal team members in order to meet the demand.
  • Assist in SOP refinement and contribute to new process development
