About The Position

The Supply Chain & Operations Leadership Development Program at Apex Tool Group (ATG) is a 2-year program starting in June 2027 that develops individuals by providing work assignments in multiple areas and functions. The program accelerates the development of recent college graduates through mentorship, training, and stretch assignments that prepare them for leadership roles at ATG. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding and knowledge of ATG’s products, markets, operations, and customer base. The first rotation of the program will be based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where participants will gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in Supply Chain and Operations. In year two, participants will have the opportunity to continue their development through one of the rotational locations outlined below, gaining exposure to additional functions, teams, and areas of the business.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Analytics, or a related field
Must have 3.0 GPA at the time of graduation
Ability to be mobile during the program
Ability to work in person as required by program rotations
Well-rounded business acumen
Previous leadership experience in an academic, athletic, or work setting
Previous internship experience in a Supply Chain or role

Responsibilities

Provide realistic job previews and functional exposure within Supply Chain and Operations
Challenge high-potential participants with stretch assignments, which accelerate the development.
Allow participants to contribute to the company’s strategic vision through value-adding assignments.
Gain an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day operations of the position.
Work on projects that are value add.
Develop relationships with peers and leadership at the site.
