We are immediately hiring a SUPPLY CHAIN & OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST to support our Mansfield, TX manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position with some flexible work initiatives, the working hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Supply Chain and Operations Administrative Specialist plays a vital role in keeping ARDEX’s supply chain running smoothly and efficiently. This position brings together data analysis, process improvement, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to drive a high-performing procurement and inventory management operation.

Requirements

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or related field.
  • Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Workday).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with data and reports.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract basics, and supplier management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Good financial management, change management, and conflict management skills.
  • Good influencing and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement workflows for specified raw materials, plant supplies, MRO items and designated plant services.
  • Partner with internal teams—Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business Units—to ensure alignment on purchasing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval hierarchies, and audit requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee and improve inventory control processes to include regular cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and execution of corrective actions.
  • Execute daily production reporting process in SAP to manage material movements from Direct Materials to Finished Goods.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of data inputs, expected outputs, and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support for the plant for PTO and attendance tracking, payroll and pre-employment testing.
