About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse activities at their new Salt Lake City Manufacturing Facility. This role will utilize continuous improvement skills to drive the manufacturing warehouse organization to world-class status. The manager will be responsible for safety leadership, operational excellence, inventory integrity, continuous improvement and lean initiatives, strategic budgeting, talent acquisition and scaling, and serving as the Oracle Implementation Lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Eight years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse management role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site.
  • Ability to travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and enforce an environment of uncompromising safety.
  • Plan, direct, and synchronize the full lifecycle of warehouse functions (inbound receiving, strategic putaway, lean picking, and line-side delivery).
  • Ensure 100% alignment with factory KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost) and shipment revenue targets.
  • Systems-driven management of inventory with a goal of 99.9%+ accuracy.
  • Implement robust cycle counting programs and rigorous WMS discipline to eliminate variances.
  • Identify, champion, and execute long-term CI initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) both in the warehouse and site operations.
  • Develop and implement the departmental OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Serve as the chief architect of the Salt Lake City warehouse team, which includes recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding a high-performance team from the ground up.
  • Serve as the onsite champion and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the transition from our legacy WMS to Oracle.
  • Partner with the IT and Supply Chain teams in HQ to ensure a seamless "go-live" experience.
