Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets and handling data
- Interest in manufacturing, robotics, or hardware startups
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
- Familiarity with BOM structures and engineering drawings
- Experience with inventory or warehouse operations
- Knowledge of Excel formulas, data analysis, or reporting tools
- Previous internship or project experience in manufacturing or operations
Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase order creation and supplier follow-up
- Track component lead times and delivery schedules
- Help maintain accurate BOMs and part records in ERP/MRP systems
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and material organization
- Coordinate incoming shipments and verify received components
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve part shortages or discrepancies
- Help identify alternate suppliers and cost reduction opportunities
- Support manufacturing planning and production scheduling activities
- Maintain documentation related to ECOs, revisions, and procurement status
- Generate reports and dashboards related to inventory, purchasing, and production readiness
