About The Position

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a passionate and community-focused Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This full-time, exempt position is based in Riverside, CA, with potential travel to other locations. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-directed problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operations environment. This role is crucial for ensuring program sites are adequately supplied and event-ready, on time, on budget, and audit-ready. Woodcraft Rangers has a rich history of serving youth in the greater Los Angeles area and is dedicated to developing young people through a holistic framework.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel to various regions with Woodcraft Rangers programs to support or deliver equipment, across Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must have a Class C driver’s license.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Operations.
  • Experience in ERP Software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 Platform.
  • Proficiency in Asset Management platforms, e-commerce platforms (Shopify), and/or Financial Systems such as Sage.
  • Troubleshooting both software and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Build a positive team culture that supports accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Supply Chain Associates, monitoring work and ensuring safe protocols are followed.
  • Process approved spending plans and purchase approved materials for all WR IE programs and locations.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships to negotiate pricing and resolve issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of supplies and coordinate resolutions with vendors.
  • Manage and reconcile monthly credit card purchases.
  • Oversee warehouse logistics (including procurement), receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment across all WR IE sites.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and functional warehouse and storage areas.
  • Review warehouse procedures and continually evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment/assets in internal inventory system and reportable district systems.
  • Lead routine equipment audits at all WR IE locations.
  • Lead quarterly inventory counts as required by internal and external sources.
  • Drive regularly to transport equipment and supplies for all WR IE program locations, including setup and breakdowns for events.
  • Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of Woodcraft Rangers vehicles and equipment, including gas, repairs, and maintenance for all WR-related usage.
  • Safely operate equipment and tools to transport inventory.
  • Assist with special events, including delivery of equipment, set-up/breakdown, etc.
  • Perform duties according to Woodcraft Rangers protocols and established safety procedures.
  • In collaboration with other departments, ensure Supply Chain protocols for loss prevention are followed at IE Office and field locations.
  • Prepare and present reports and/or findings on a regular basis (e.g., asset reports, quarterly inventory reports).
  • Document support requests and resolutions via ticketing system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
