About The Position

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoW intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. Become part of a team with proven experience to maintain a large network that is critical to the DoW’s mission. We are seeking a unique individual to lead supply chain functions across procurement, asset management, inventory control, and logistics coordination with supply chain skills to assist in our enterprise procurement processes.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of related logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Active or eligible TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/asset management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware including routers, switches, and thin clients.
  • Experience with major shipping carriers including DCS, Diplomatic Pouch shipments. DHL, FedEx, and USPS.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Experience with asset management systems and hand receipts.
  • Logistics Automation

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Experience with freight forwarders and shipping procedures.
  • ServiceNow

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Chain Management team and oversee Procurement, Asset (hardware/software) Management, Warehouse Management, COMSEC and Logistics teams.
  • Ensure accurate data management for hardware/software inventory, transportation, and planning.
  • Analyze contractual data, technical data, and maintenance practices to determine provisioning requirements.
  • Develop and manage logistics plans and processes to ensure timely distribution of materials.
  • Develop delivery strategies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of logistics and IT technologies.
  • Manage a globally dispersed logistics workforce and provide communication and problem-solving leadership.
