The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the integrated supply chain performance of a defined product value stream, ensuring aligned execution across strategic sourcing, operational sourcing, and order fulfillment activities. The role leads a mixed team of Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Sourcing Specialists, and Fulfillment Leaders and ensures that strategic intent, operational execution, and delivery performance are consistently aligned. The manager acts as the value stream owner for supply chain outcomes, with strong accountability for delivery performance, productivity, and cost, while developing people, problem‑solving capability, and system‑level thinking within the team. The role focuses on execution excellence and end‑to-end impact at value‑stream level within global supply chain strategies, standards, and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Operations, Planning or Project Management
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing mixed teams with strategic and operational responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of end to end supply chain processes, including strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier performance management, order Fulfillment and end-to-end order-to-cash processes
  • Demonstrated experience driving productivity improvements, efficiency gains, and continuous improvement using structured problem solving approaches
  • Excellent cross functional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Structured, ownership driven leadership style with the ability to lead effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillset

Responsibilities

  • Owns end to end supply chain performance for the assigned product value stream, including delivery performance (OTD), cost effectiveness, supply stability, and productivity.
  • Provides disciplinary and functional leadership to Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Sourcing Specialists, and Order Fulfillment Leaders, with a strong focus on operational excellence, coaching, capability building, and people development.
  • Shapes the team’s identity from a transaction driven purchasing mindset toward a supply chain leadership mindset with end to end ownership for flow, stability, and customer impact.
  • Contributes to cross functional and strategic initiatives as required.
  • Integrates and aligns strategic sourcing decisions, operational sourcing execution, and order Fulfillment priorities to ensure consistent end to end execution within the value stream and global strategy.
  • Owns delivery performance at value stream level, including prioritization, risk identification, escalation management, and coordination of corrective actions in close collaboration with Order Fulfillment and interface partners.
  • Drives system level thinking and root cause based problem solving within the value stream by applying lean principles (e.g. PDCA, 5 Why, A3) to eliminate recurring issues and reduce firefighting.
  • Actively manages team capacity and focus by prioritizing along SCM goals, consciously stopping low value activities, and protecting resources for stabilization, improvement, and strategic work.
  • Drives material productivity and commercial performance within the value stream, including ePPV and Bid vs Procured improvements, through negotiation excellence executed by the team.
  • Ensures transparent, data driven forecasting, turnover tracking, and performance reporting at value stream level, deriving clear actions from KPIs rather than reporting activity.
  • Collaborates closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Customer Teams, and Delivery Leaders to prevent interface gaps and ensure stable end to end execution.
  • Actively supports the team in day to day operational activities as required, particularly in situations of high workload, complexity, critical escalations, or short term capacity constraints. Depending on business needs, this may include direct involvement in selected sourcing, supplier, or Order Fulfillment activities alongside the team, without replacing the functional ownership of the respective roles.
  • Identifies efficiency, system, and automation improvement opportunities within the value stream and contributes concrete requirements and use cases into global supply chain initiatives.
