Manages daily operations for the organization's Material’s Management functions. This role involves managing department heads and employees to meet assigned workloads and work schedules, effectively handling employee issues across various departments (HR, QA, CS, Purchasing, Safety), and managing work to meet sales, production schedules, customer service needs, purchasing limitations, and employee needs. The position is responsible for controlling expenses and overseeing the use of labor, equipment, and facilities. The Supply Chain Manager collaborates with the plant manager on internal and external audits, assists in planning and directing plant activities for efficiency and well-being, and prepares, reviews, or audits forms, records, and logs. Key responsibilities include improving physical inventories, problem-solving and resolution, implementing changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs in materials management, and collaborating with production to maintain excellent customer service and meet manufacturing goals. The role requires detailed analysis, professional reporting for senior management, and identifying/implementing continuous improvement opportunities. Other duties as assigned.
