Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, operations or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supply chain, distribution or logistics
  • Experience of people leadership in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes and supply chain/inventory management systems such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is required.
  • You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Operations: Plan, direct, and oversee materials planning, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services supporting current and future business needs.
  • Develop High-Performing, Inclusive Teams: Attract, retain, and develop a diverse team through effective training, succession planning, and performance management. Champion Abbott’s culture by fostering engagement, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • Drive Operational & Financial Performance: Manage departmental budgets and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with site and divisional financial objectives.
  • Ensure Demand & Supply Alignment: Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and planning teams to deliver products on time and in full while achieving site volume and inventory targets.
  • Optimize Production & Supply Planning: Oversee site scheduling to balance customer demand, operational priorities, and capacity constraints. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain continuity of supply.
  • Execute S&OP Strategy: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with a long-term (24-month) horizon, ensuring alignment of demand forecasts, supply plans, and business objectives.
  • Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure efficient purchasing, receiving, and distribution processes across the site.
  • Enhance Inventory & Systems Management: Oversee inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking of purchase orders, inventory levels, and production requirements, driving data integrity and operational visibility.
  • Ensure Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Maintain full compliance with Abbott standards and all applicable regulations, including FDA, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
