About The Position
Our client, a fast-growing manufacturer, seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to build and lead this function from the ground up. This role involves managing two production locations, globally sourced components, and an active DTC parts business. It is a brand-new role with high visibility and real impact.
Requirements
- Hands-on supply chain experience — onshore and offshore purchasing
- Experience sourcing prefab and custom-manufactured parts globally
- Warehouse operations leadership with direct reports
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Low volume manufacturing experience
- Comfortable building a function without a playbook
- Automotive background not required
Nice To Haves
- Multi-site supply chain experience
- ERP or inventory management system experience
- Lean / continuous improvement background
Responsibilities
- Own purchasing, vendor relationships, and supply planning across two production sites
- Lead warehouse operations — inventory accuracy, safety, and DTC fulfillment
- Manage parts supply to production and an offsite company-owned warehouse
- Drive cost savings, reduce waste, and minimize production downtime
- Manage supply chain direct reports
