About The Position

As the Supply Chain Manager at National Carwash Solutions, you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the supply chain team supporting our carwash chemistry manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in sourcing and managing chemical raw materials, packaging components, and related supplies that power our blending operations—developing a high-performing team of buyers and planners, optimizing chemical supplier relationships, and driving sourcing strategies that ensure consistent product quality, supply continuity, and cost competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement, with 2+ years in a leadership role; experience with chemical raw material sourcing required.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemical blending, specialty chemical manufacturing, or related process manufacturing environments.

  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a factory-based Supply Chain team responsible for daily procurement and planning activities.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, coach team members, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide vision and strategic direction for the supply chain function, ensuring alignment with factory and enterprise-wide objectives.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for chemical raw materials, surfactants, solvents, fragrances, packaging, and other inputs that support carwash chemistry blending and manufacturing operations.
  • Drive execution of supply management initiatives that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Establish and track multi-year cost reduction plans with measurable and verifiable savings.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with chemical raw material suppliers and distributors while identifying new sourcing opportunities to support product development and business growth.
  • Ensure competitive quoting and supplier performance aligned with NCS’s strategic goals.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing chemical handling, storage, and procurement (OSHA, EPA, SDS/GHS standards, and applicable local laws).
  • Keep factory leadership informed of key developments, challenges, and progress within the supply chain function.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, engineering, and finance to ensure supply strategies meet business needs.
  • Align team initiatives with broader enterprise supply management goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day inventory control of chemical raw materials and packaging components, ensuring accurate stock levels, cycle counts, and timely replenishment to support blending production schedules.
  • Manage dock operations including inbound receiving, outbound shipments, carrier scheduling, and documentation to ensure on-time and accurate material flow.
  • Develop and enforce inventory management policies, chemical storage standards (including hazmat segregation and containment), and dock safety procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company guidelines.
  • Leverage ERP systems to maintain inventory accuracy, track receipts and disbursements, and generate reporting to support decision-making.
