About The Position

As a Supply Chain Manager, you are a key member of the Site Leadership Team and is responsible for leading all site supply chain activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations that support customer commitments and business objectives. This role is accountable for production planning and scheduling, inventory management, materials control, logistics, precious metal accountability, and shipping/receiving activities. The Supply Chain Manager partners closely with Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and the Global Supply Chain team to optimize working capital, improve operational performance, and deliver world-class customer service. The incumbent will drive best-in-class planning processes through disciplined execution of Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), support the broader Sales & Operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning (S&OP/IBP) process, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, inventory performance, and operational responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Technical and/or business bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in materials management with project and line responsibilities, including production scheduling and shop floor control.
  • Experience with Organisational Change

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and coach the site Supply Chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
  • Own the site's S&OE process and develop a robust rolling production schedule that balances customer demand, inventory targets, available capacity, and operational priorities.
  • Partner closely with the Global Supply Chain team to support the IBP/S&OP process through regular demand, supply, inventory, and capacity reviews.
  • Maintain and improve Schedule Adherence, ensuring production plans are executed effectively and customer commitments are achieved.
  • Drive world-class customer service performance through effective planning, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Monitor inventory levels against established targets and lead initiatives focused on maintaining lean inventory while reducing working capital and improving inventory turns.
  • Conduct regular reviews of excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and implement actions to reduce inventory exposure.
