Supply Chain Manager

As the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for supply chain management (SCM) performance for a business unit or major business unit location, leading the development of partner relationships with vendors and suppliers and maintaining relationships for long-term contracts. Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
- Substantial ability to draft highly complex contractual instruments that comply with General Dynamic’s policies/procedures, federal, state, Federal Acquisition Requirements/DFAR, and local laws
- Ability to lead in the management and control of supplier’s and assigned programs
- Ability to develop negotiation strategies and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
- Expert decision-making skills

Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for supply chain management (SCM) performance for a business unit or major business unit location
- Leading the development of partner relationships with vendors and suppliers and maintaining relationships for long-term contracts
- Support proposal activities
- Formulate and implement SCM strategies to meet the business needs
- Provide oversight of cost and pricing estimating activities for bids and proposals
- Command of all contractual/supply chain documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations and business team objectives prior to signature / acceptance
