About The Position

As an SCM Specialist II, you will support both corporate supply chain initiatives and project procurement activities, ensuring that contracts, suppliers, and procurement processes align with RAM’s standards and project requirements. You will work closely with internal project teams, contractors, and suppliers to manage procurement packages, evaluate proposals, administer contracts, and support contract lifecycle activities from tender through project close-out.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Contract Administration
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Prepare procurement packages for supply, consulting, and construction contracts
  • Solicit competitive proposals and manage procurement processes in coordination with project teams
  • Conduct commercial evaluations of proposals and prepare bid tab analyses
  • Support negotiations and resolution of commercial and technical matters prior to contract award
  • Draft, finalize, and administer contracts for project execution
  • Work with internal and external teams to develop project-specific contracting strategies
  • Support procurement, contracts, and claims management activities across projects
  • Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with schedules, milestones, and contractual obligations
  • Coordinate change management and contract modifications as required
  • Chair meetings with project stakeholders to review contract status and resolve issues
  • Lead contract close-out activities and ensure proper project documentation
  • Track and verify submission of insurance, bonding, and contractual documentation
  • Review progress payment estimates and invoices
  • Ensure suppliers and contractors meet reporting, safety, and quality requirements
  • Participate in contractor and supplier audits where required
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of RAM’s supply chain processes, procedures, and templates
  • Support corporate agreements for goods and services
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and support RAM’s fiscal objectives
