About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experience Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our team in Hazelwood, MO! This role incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. It applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. The analyst will analyze complex material requirements, verify and incorporate Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan, and determine part number attributes. They will initiate, coordinate, and authorize the release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensuring on-time delivery. Additionally, the role involves documenting and resolving order delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, developing and controlling inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels, analyzing and dispositioning excess inventories, and initiating audits. The analyst will also develop and create schedules for products and services, assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals, and implement and maintain process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. This position works under general direction.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team, formally or informally
  • Experience addressing both customer, internal, and employee escalations
  • Experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
