About The Position

Supply Chain Management Analyst (Experienced or Mid-Level) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking an Experienced or Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to join our 787 Flightline team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 3rd Shift . You will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions as well as apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 1+ years of experience with an industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP
  • 1+ years of experience working in a position where priorities changed frequently and customer service was critical to the team’s success
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years of experience with ERPLN or similar MRP system

Responsibilities

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
  • Coordinates with contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan
  • Coordinates part number attributes
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
  • Releases and maintains orders
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories
  • Creates schedules for products and services
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements
