About The Position

The Supply Chain Lead is accountable for the Supply Chain workstream within Emory University and Emory Healthcare’s Workday ERP Transformation. Reporting to the VP for ERP Transformation, the role serves as the primary functional decision-maker across both organizations and leads the design and delivery of procurement and supply chain capabilities. The position reconciles healthcare clinical requirements with university campus and research needs, directs the assigned team and advisers, and escalates decisions or risks requiring broader program action. The role oversees the workstream’s scope, priorities, deliverables, dependencies, decisions, risks, and readiness in coordination with the ERP PMO. As functional product owner for Workday procurement and supply chain capabilities, the Supply Chain Lead approves future-state design and guides capabilities spanning procure to pay, strategic sourcing, supplier and contract management, inventory and materials, spend analytics, clinical supply, logistics, and item and vendor data. The position coordinates with finance and related technical and data workstreams, and leads Supply Chain participation in requirements, configuration reviews, data conversion, testing, cutover, deployment readiness, and stabilization. It also works with functional and technical leads, change management, Workday, consultants, suppliers, and Supply Chain stakeholders to support adoption and ongoing operations. Position tasks are generally performed in person at an Emory University location; remote work-from-home days may be granted at department discretion, and Emory may change remote work status with notice.
